We’re looking for a self-motivated, proactive videographer to join Arnold Clark’s in-house film facility in Glasgow.

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week)

Flexible working is available for this role.

About the role

Working as part of the Film Studio team, the Videographer role is an exciting and challenging position within the company, involving a large variety of video projects and communication with key stakeholders.

Reporting directly to the Film Studio Lead, you will work to produce engaging, award-winning content, fresh, challenging ideas and striving to continually improve our video offering.

Day-to-day duties

  • Working within the team managing your workflow of our in-house film studio and external filming projects.
  • Managing the filming process, from organising the shoot to scripting, editing and final delivery.
  • Improving systems and processes, and developing new platforms as required.
  • Identifying issues and developing solutions.
  • Backing up storage of work on an ongoing basis and developing new solutions for storage.
  • Looking at current market trends and competitor videos to ensure we always stay ahead of the game.
  • Personal development, researching new filming techniques and technologies.

Essential skills

  • Excellent communication skills and strong videography and editing experience.
  • Strong narrative ability with a focus on corporate communication.
  • Effective time management to implement and execute projects successfully.
  • A meticulous approach and the ability to multi-task on a number of projects, working to strict deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic team player that works well with others.
  • Ability to take an analytical approach to our engagement KPIs.
  • Proficiency in editing and grading footage, using both Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects and Adobe CS experience is desirable.
  • Extensive practical experience using film and audio equipment.
  • A passion for creative filming and the automotive marketplace.
