We’re recruiting for a friendly and efficient Trainee Insurance Claims Administrator to work at Arnold Clark Insurance Services in Seafield, Edinburgh.

Full time, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm
About the role
As a Trainee Insurance Claims Advisor, you’ll take care of customers both over the phone and in writing when they have to make an insurance claim. You’ll deal with their enquiries, liaise with insurers, accurately input data and carry out admin duties to make sure claims are dealt with smoothly.
This role would suit someone with fantastic verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail, who would enjoy working as part of a busy team.
Day-to-day-duties
- Dealing with correspondence including emails and claims reports.
- Recording claims information onto our internal systems and checking records.
- Speaking to customers, Arnold Clark bodyshop staff and insurance companies.
- Scanning, filing and administrative duties.
- Making sure that if clients have purchased additional insurance products that they use them when making a claim.
- Contacting insurers for outcomes and expected updates.
- Helping the rest of the team with tasks as required.
Essential skills
- Strong communication skills and a friendly manner.
- Attention to detail and the ability to input data accurately.
- High level of organisation and the ability to multi-task.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Great time management.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
