Hours
Full time: Monday – Friday, alternating between 8.30am – 6pm and 8.30am – 5.30pm
About the role
Our Telephonist will deal with our customer enquiries in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring the customer experience is seamless from start to finish.
As a Telephonist, you will work with a diverse team of CCA employees throughout the auction journey. You will engage with all departments on a daily basis. The role would be a great fit for someone who enjoys a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You will have the ability to communicate at all levels and be extremely well-organised.
Day-to-day duties
- Communicating with departments, management, and stakeholders throughout the business.
- Managing a very large volume of customer calls for the branch.
- Ensuring calls are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
- Answering inbound calls for all departments.
- Providing the highest level of customer service.
- General administration duties when required.
- Logging information and managing internal systems.
Essential skills
- A high level of accuracy and ability to multi-task during peak periods
- A fantastic telephone manner
- A genuine interest in delivering excellent service
- Good computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills
- Enjoy working with the public, both face to face and on the telephone
- The confidence to work independently and also as part of a team
- The ability to work well under pressure
Nice to have but not essential
- Knowledge of Kingfisher is required for the role, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
