About the role:

Reporting to the Support Desk Manager, you will be responsible for providing software and access support within the Support Team structure.


Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Location

This is a hybrid role which involves two days at home and three days in the office between our Hillington Head office and our office in Kilbirnie Street, Glasgow.

 

Day-to-day duties

  • Ensure that the information within the software system is available and accessible and be responsible for entering and amending as required on Service Management Tooling platform.
  • Responsible for joiner’s onboarding processes – within current support and cyber processes.
  • Responsible for leaver’s process – within current support and cyber processes.
  • Responsible for actioning access requests for internal systems in line with current processes.
  • Assist with software installation procedures within support desk where appropriate.
  • Responsible for license assignments, reconciliation and reporting (Office 365/Intune)
  • Working tickets flows within Service Management Tooling.
  • Assisting Support Desk with call handling.

Essential skills:

  • Attention to detail with a methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Strong written and communications skills
  • A focused team player
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Great time management and the ability to prioritise multiple work streams

Desirable but not essential:

  • Understanding of Cisco Call Manager/Finesse administration
  • Exposure to Office 365, Intune licensing assignments and user management
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory user administration
