About the role
As part of the Marketing team at Arnold Clark, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our marketing strategies by providing data insights, analysis and reporting. You will work closely with our Marketing, Sales and Digital teams to optimise campaigns, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall business performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimise ROI.
- Tailor and segment customer data based on previous purchase history and buying patterns.
- Utilise data analytics tools to monitor customer behaviour, preferences, and trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimise marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data for personalised marketing and prospecting campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and maintain a strong understanding of data privacy and protection principles.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
- Proven previous experience in marketing analytics or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Looker Studio or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with Python is advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- General awareness and understanding of GDPR regulations and data privacy principles.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
