We are looking to hire a new Kitchen Assistant to work in our SEAT/ ŠKODA branch in Linwood.
Part time: Monday – Friday, 8am – 3pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
About the role
Our Kitchen Assistants are responsible for overseeing the serving of food and drinks to our customers while providing the highest level of customer service. The role involves assisting with food preparation, the cooking and serving of breakfast and the preparation of sandwiches and salads, all while maintaining proper hygiene standards.
We are looking for someone with catering experience, a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- Preparation and cooking of food
- Serving customers
- Maintaining and ordering food stock
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen and café area
- Ensuring allergen awareness and informing customers
- Cash handling
Essential skills and experience
- Ability to work under own supervision
- Experience of food preparation
- High level of customer service
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate to Level 3 Supervisor level in Food Safety in Catering.
