We are currently recruiting at our Head Office, Hillington, Glasgow for the following position
Internal Audit Manager
Reporting to the Company Secretary, the Internal Audit Manager would be responsible for the day to day management and development of a team of six internal auditors and four stock auditors at one of the UK’s largest motor retailers.
The successful candidate would be responsible for:

Revising and developing the audit testing

Planning the audit programme
-
Reviewing and distributing all audit reports and liaising with the relevant business units regarding the findings and outcomes.

Conducting audits of the more technical areas of the business

Conducting and/or managing any ad-hoc investigations requested by the Directors

Providing assistance with acquisition diligence when required.
The successful candidate will:

Be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with at least 2 years PQE
-
Have previous experience in an audit environment and of managing teams
-
Be able to work independently and demonstrate good organisational skills
-
Have excellent IT skills and be highly proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office.

Be capable of dealing with individuals at all levels throughout the business.

Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
