Hours
You’ll work a 5-day week on a set rota that includes weekends (40 hours per week).
About the role
As an Innovation Genius, you will be tasked with educating the general public on electric/hybrid vehicles, charging and new technologies. This will be a great fit for someone who is full of bright ideas about how to create an exceptional visitor experience. You’ll get plenty of training, but we are looking for candidates with a thirst for knowledge, an ability to learn quickly and the organisational skills to help run a fast- paced centre. We’d expect you to be a great team player, who is passionate about helping customers choose the right car for them.
Day-to-day duties
- Taking the lead on our 'Innovation Appointments' in showing the visitor round the cars they wish to see and organising test drives
- Staying up to date on the latest vehicles manufactures have to offer.
- Assisting with Arnold Buys Your Car appointments
- Managing our Click and Collect service
- Helping Motability customers in ordering their new electric or plug in hybrid vehicles.
- Delivering our training course Innovation Academy internally. - Facilitating our here to help service for our Arnold Clark customers
Essential skills
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence using a camera and creating basic video content
- The ability to multitask with great attention to detail
- Presentable appearance
- Enthusiastic to learn
- A passion for helping people
Nice to have (but not essential)
- An understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – although training can be arranged for the right candidate.
