We are seeking to appoint an HR Advisor to assist in covering work in the North of England.
The role is very much employee relations focused and you would be expected to give advice on and facilitate disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings. You will also be involved with long term absence resolution, redundancies and a range of other HR issues. You will give HR advice to all levels of employees from staff members up to director level.
Ideally the right candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in an HR advisory capacity, you will be CIPD qualified with the ability to work on your own initiative. It is essential that you have a broad and up-to-date knowledge of current employment law.
You must be confident in your HR and employment law knowledge and have the ability to use this to make correct decisions in a pressurised environment. You must also be comfortable in dealing with management and director level staff. Based in Manchester this role will require regular travel around England. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain very hands on experience within a demanding multi-site environment. A full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year is essential as a car will be provided.
