GTG Training – Renault Trucks
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 and bonus opportunities
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, no weekend work required
GTG Training is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer.
This is an excellent opportunity to move from the workshop into a rewarding training role, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

What you’ll be doing
- Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG’s training centre.
- Delivering practical and classroom-based training.
- Assessing learner progress.
- Maintaining training records.
- Supporting apprentices throughout their development.
What we’re looking for from you
- No teaching experience is required – we’ll provide full training and support to gain a teaching qualification
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience
- Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
- Full UK driving licence
