We’re looking for a Project Manager to deliver a range of projects for the Arnold Clark Group Projects team.
Hours
Full time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm (30 minutes for lunch).
Location
The role is based in our Hillington Head Office, however, it will also require travel around our branches as and when required.
Group Projects currently operates a system of 'hybrid' working, allowing staff to work from home.
About the role
Working within the Projects team, and reporting to the Group Projects Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the scoping and delivery of a range of projects across the Group's portfolio. This will include the set-up of new branches and the installation, adapting and evolving of our ABYC platform, Click & Collect processes and customer journeys. The Project Manager will also manage and co-ordinate the input of project team members and will liaise with multiple stakeholders within the Group.
The ideal candidate will have experience of project management, will be extremely organised and IT literate. We are looking for an individual who has bags of enthusiasm and excellent communication skills.
Day-to-day duties
- Scoping out requirements for new projects and developing project proposals.
- Setting up and appointing project teams, while managing and co-ordinating their input to ensure that timelines are achieved.
- Reviewing project progress and keeping the project on brief.
- Preparation of regular project progress reports.
- Assisting wider Group Projects team and ABYC/C&C teams as required.
Essential skills
- Good experience of project management in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capable of working in a demand-driven environment.
- Ability to challenge current ways of working and continually looking for new ways of doing things to improve business efficiency.
