We’re looking for a new Graduate Compliance Officer to work from our vibrant Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow.
Hours
Full time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
Hybrid working is available with this role, with three days in the office and two days at home.
About the role
As a Graduate Compliance Officer, you will be required to assist the Company Secretary in carrying out compliance reviews, assessing the impact of changes to regulation, training Group staff, handling data protection issues and various other tasks as required.
We’re looking for someone who is outgoing with an excellent ability to explain complex regulations in a clear and concise manner.
Day-to-day duties
- Reviewing various aspects of compliance with regulation across the Group
- Monitoring and assessing the impact of changes to regulation
- Providing training to various departments throughout the Group
- Dealing with various data protection matters
- Reviewing financial promotions
- Liaising with the Internal Audit, Legal and Risk departments
Essential skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with an ability to listen to what is being said and what isn't being said
- An ability to understand and summarise the various regulations and associated guidance
- A good attention to detail
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office
- A full, clean driving licence
- Educated to degree level or similar
