We are looking for an experienced Customer Services Advisor to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow.

Hours
This is a full-time position: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday with one late night per week (11:30am – 8pm).
Position also requires work on approximately one out of four Saturdays (9am – 2pm).
Please note: If you work on a Saturday, you will be given a day off during the week.
About the role
To deal with a variety of regulated finance complaints, know and understand FCA rules on responding to complaints, and ensure full investigations are carried out.
In addition, dealing with DCA commission complaints once the FCA pause on these complaints have been lifted.
This role will suit a customer focused person, who has excellent attention to detail on finance related complaints, ensuring the correct outcomes are achieved.
This person will have worked in the finance industry and has a wealth of knowledge on finance matters.
Day-to-day duties
- Dealing and investigating finance related complaints, liaising with branches to ensure all facts have been gathered before responding.
- Dealing with enquiries and complaints from finance companies, liaising with branches and Customer Services tech team before responding to finance companies.
- Dealing with DCA commission complaints from customers and CMCs, ensuring all points raised in complaints are answered in full.
- Working with colleagues in Finance team to work the diaries and that all deadlines are met. This includes internal deadlines as well as regulated deadlines.
- Answering calls from customers and third parties, dealing with their enquiries and complaints over the phone, logging complaints where applicable.
- Where appropriate, help collage MI for reporting purposes.
- Will be required to sit internal finance exams (open book).
