Full time: 45 hours per week, five days out of seven and alternative weekends.
About the role
As an Arnold Clark Driver/Valeter Supervisor you’ll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.
This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.
Day-to-day duties
- Lead a team of rental driver valeters.
- Ensure all vehicles are delivered and collected on time and as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Ensure all delivery tablets are logged in and out correctly to staff every day and that all software is up to date.
- Ensure only approved valet materials are used in accordance with COSHH guidelines and stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure all staff follow health and safety procedures, including correct PPE clothing, and relevant paperwork is kept up to date
- Ensure accurate and correct information is recorded at all times
- Ensure vehicles are prepared to company standards for both cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure key cabinets are locked at all times and keys are secured overnight.
- Ensure all faults and damage are reported to senior branch staff.
- Ensure staff keep all work and customer areas clean and tidy.
- Implement new procedures set by management and ensure they continue to be followed.
- Promote good communication with both staff and management through regular meetings, stand-ups and staff check-ins.
Essential requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to multi-task
- Willingness to participate in training programmes
