Working in our award-winning Marketing department, you’ll be responsible for analysing the many marketing channels we use, as well as analysing large amounts of disparate and/or unstructured information, market research, reporting and presenting results to help key decision makers adopt a data-driven approach.
You’ll have a collaborative nature and a strong desire to understand how the different areas of our business work. You’ll also bring high levels of organisation, strong communication and interpersonal skills to the position. With a demonstrable passion for data, you’ll be proactive, aligned to business priorities and never afraid to challenge others and the status quo.
Day-to-day duties

Working with numbers to investigate the why, what and where with tools like Google Analytics, Power BI and other analytical packages.

Using your strong practical knowledge of statistics to uncover the insights behind the data and highlight any areas for improvement.

Quickly reacting to market change and delivering a rapid turnaround on simple requests by accessing the relevant data/report/output, occasionally through simple marketing surveys.

Researching projects to provide quantitative as well as qualitative results, to provide business insights as soon as they’re needed.
Essential skills

Excel and other desktop data tools will be second nature to you, as you’ll be helping deliver weekly and standard reports of complex data in a simple and effective way to marketers.

A strong commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically, providing a clear vision for how data and research can be used to assist the team in making data-driven decisions.

A good understanding of SQL to run queries and investigate our database regularly.
Knowledge of the automotive industry will be useful but not essential.
