We are looking for an experienced Customer Services Advisor to join our team at our Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow.

Hours

This is a full-time position: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday with one late night per week (11:30am – 8pm).

Position also requires work on approximately one out of four Saturdays (9am – 2pm).

Please note: If you work on a Saturday, you will be given a day off during the week.

About the role

This role involves dealing with complaints and enquiries from customers and third parties, and liaising with branches to ensure swift resolution to complaints.

This role is ideal for a customer-focused person with attention to detail on non-finance related complaints and who can ensure the correct outcomes are achieved.

This person will have worked in customer services and excels in delivering excellent customer service.

Day-to-day duties

  • Dealing and investigating non-finance related complaints, liaising with branches to ensure all facts have been gathered before responding.
  • Dealing with enquiries and complaints from customers and third parties, liaising with branches and colleagues with Customer Services and other Head Office departments, such as Legal and Compliance.
  • Answering calls from customers and third parties, dealing with their enquiries and complaints over the phone, logging complaints where applicable.
  • Working with colleagues in the main team to work the diaries and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Raising any potential issues, trends to management when required.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • High level of accuracy in all aspects of the job (oral and written)
  • Being able to challenge where appropriate
  • Being able to work on their own and deal with their own complaints allocated to them as well as assisting others when required.
  • Reliability

Please note: Full training on all aspects of the job will be given.
