Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service? We are looking to recruit a new Customer Services Apprentice to join our busy team at our Head Office in Hillington, Glasgow.

Hours

Full-time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch

Once training is complete the you will be required to work one late shift per week (to 8pm) and one Saturday every 4 weeks (9am-2pm). If you work a Saturday shift you will get a full day off during the week.

About the role

As a member of our Customer Services team, it will be your job to ensure our customers receive the excellent service they expect from Arnold Clark.

You will be responsible for dealing with customer complaints in a polite and professional manner, and you will go the extra mile to reach a fair and positive solution.

This role will be a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys exceeding customer expectations and creating positive outcomes.

Hybrid working is available, with three days spent in the office and two at home. For training purposes, your first month will be office-based.

Day-to-day duties

  • Dealing with customer complaints in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Liaising with branches and customers to bring a fair resolution to complaints
  • Updating internal systems with all relevant information to make sure there is a full audit trail for complaints
  • Answering complaints by phone, email and post
  • Taking all relevant information from branch staff and customers and making informed, intelligent decisions on all complaints, seeking the right guidance when needed.
