We’re recruiting for an organised and self-motivated Contract Hire Sales Administrator to join our vehicle management team in Hillington, Glasgow.

Hours

Full time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm

Flexible working is available with this role.

About the role

Arnold Clark Contract Hire Sales Administrators work closely with customers and suppliers to make our vehicle sales transactions as seamless and efficient as possible.

You’ll maintain and update our order bank records, arrange delivery and collection of cars and light commercial vehicles, and be a helpful point of contact over the phone and via email. Great communication skills and a self-starting, proactive attitude are essential.

Day-to-day duties

  • Offering sales admin support for our personal contract products.
  • Dealing with paperwork and digital workflows.
  • Updating computer records within our own internal systems.
  • Communicating with customers directly during the vehicle order process and to arrange vehicle deliveries.
  • Liaising with relevant departments to ensure payments are made at the correct times and that the relevant paperwork is in place.
  • Communicating between customers and Sales while sales staff are out on business.

Essential skills

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • High levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • A warm, professional telephone manner that puts customer at ease.
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a busy team.
