We’re looking for a skilled, field-based Business Development Trainer to work with Arnold Clark staff throughout the UK.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Flexible working is available.
About the role
Arnold Clark is Europe’s largest independently owned car retailer, with over 200 UK branches and 11,000 employees.
As Business Development Trainer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that staff across all of our business departments are up to speed with Arnold Clark systems, procedures and sales processes.
This dynamic, field-based role would suit someone with a strong background in sales, systems and business development, who enjoys helping others fulfil their potential.
Day-to-day duties

Scheduling systems training for staff within the Group’s corporate and business sales departments.

Travelling to various UK locations to deliver training.

Creating a bespoke training plan for each new start and facilitating the delivery of courses they require.

Creating training courses relevant to the needs of business and corporate sales.

Presenting classroom training.

Liaising with managers and interviewing employees at all levels to identify and assess training and development needs.
Essential skills

Strong communication and influencing skills.

Confident presentation skills.

A high level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task.

Ability to liaise with management at all levels.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

A full driving licence held for a minimum of one year.
Experience of B2B sales and knowledge of commercial legislation are desirable, but training will be given to the right candidate.
