We’re looking to recruit a new Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at Central Car Auctions in Lingfield.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining staff performance, while keeping track of the day-to-day running of the branch.

We’re looking for someone who has excellent leadership and communication skills. The role will suit a strong team player who is good at problem solving and driven to achieve positive outcomes.

Day-to-day duties

  • Dealing with customer requirements on a daily basis to achieve the best outcome.
  • Checking over all appraisals that have been carried out.
  • Keeping team’s admin up to date with ongoing tasks.
  • Making sure all sale cars are correctly prepared.
  • Keeping track of staff productivity.
  • Keeping track of cars that arrive and leave site.

Essential skills and requirements

  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills with ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to multi-tusk and prioritise workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Full driving licence

Nice to have but not essential

  • Previous experience in the automotive auction industry
  • NAMA grading experience
