We’re looking to recruit a new full-time Asset Management Analyst in our Head Office in Glasgow.

Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

Hybrid working is available with this role.

About the role

As our asset management function evolves within Digital Service and Operations at Arnold Clark, we are looking for an analyst who can support our move from on prem storage to vendor supply and call off. This role will be responsible for ensuring all non-data centre IT assets in use throughout Arnold Clark are correctly managed in a controlled manner from procurement to retirement. 

We are looking for someone who can:

Proactively develop, validate, and verify critical non-data centre asset life cycle management policies, procedures, and agreements.

Evolve the Asset inventory management policy and procedures moving to vendor-based supply with demand management procedures in place to provide accurate forecasts for call off.

Coordinate with teams across AC Digital to identify and document asset life cycle management requirements and risks.

Evolve and manage reporting on defined Asset management function including demand forecasting of assets.

Day-to-day duties

  • Conduct regular audits of user-based and infrastructure assets and analyse any hardware anomalies
  • Perform reconciliations and provide accurate forecasts for call off per vendor management process and procurement.
  • Manage the IT Store and ensure updates for asset release or returns are updated
  • Liaise with the other Digital departments, specifically Procurement & Finance, to ensure all items are correctly forecasted, recorded, and accounted for.
  • Conduct site visits to local logistics vendor facilities and other locations as needed.

Essential skills and experience

Previous experience of working in a IT asset vendor managed inventory environment

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to define process and procedures

Excellent teamwork skills, capable of working effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups.

Knowledge of IT Hardware Assets through a previous Asset role or through a support function

Self-starter able to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to requirements

Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision

Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Nice to have but not essential…

Knowledge of SSCM and Intune for inventory management and reporting.
