Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

Location

This role will be based at Assure Alarms, Kilbirnie Street in Glasgow.

About the role

We’re looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to our busy Service department. You will help to deliver excellent customer service while ensuring you issue, receive, and record information in a timely and accurate manner.

This role would suit somebody who has office / admin / helpdesk experience and is looking for a role where they can develop skills in a professional working environment.

Day-to-day duties

  • Ensure that all appointments are met for the day; this will include booking appointments, engaging with clients, workers and managers of the business.
  • Record accurate information on works being completed and ensuring appointments are given correct priority.
  • Allocate the engineer to attend appointments based on skills, availability and locality to the jobs.
  • Working with your colleagues to ensure all customer needs are met or, more often, exceeded.
  • Maintaining the company database.
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as required appropriate to the post.

Essential skills and experience

  • A positive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys thinking on their feet and using their initiative to problem solve and ensure customers have a positive experience
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have a reasonable proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good team player who ensures that learning is shared among team members
  • Ability to take direction and be happy to respond to managers’ instructions
  • Be reliable and dependable
  • Reactive and proactive problem-solving skills
